hey kids I'm miss seeing you at church, on Sunday for junior Church so I thought, maybe I would make a junior Church of, Bibles three lesson for you to watch, this week now parents if you're watching, this I want to tell you about a couple, of things I'm going to put a link to the, description or to the coloring page in, the in the description of this video and, they you can print that off and they can, color it during the during the video or, they can do it later after the after, videos done or maybe they could just, take a clean piece of paper and draw, while you're watching they watch the the, story also I'm sure your your doing, Bible lessons and praying with them and, sing with them but maybe this could be, something they could watch while you're, listening to a sermon yourself this, weekend alright kids are you ready for a, great Bible lesson this is a great story, and I'm excited to tell it to you this, story is about a man named Jairus and he, and his daughter who was very sick and, then there was a lady who was also sick, and we're gonna learn some really great, things about Jesus in the story that, Jesus loves to help people that he's, stronger than any sickness and he think, of life to the dead well before we start, a story let's do some singing we sing in, junior church so let's do some singing, from before we do our story the first, one comes from first John 3 verse 1, behold what manner of love the father is, given unto us remember that song let's, sing together sing it out with me while, I'm singing behold what manner of love, the father has given unto us behold what, manner of love the father has given unto, us that we should be called the sons of, God that we should be called the sons of, God all right there's the song did you, sing that time maybe you don't know if, it well maybe need to learn it yet let's, sing it again so you can learn it are, you ready here we go behold what manner, of love the father has given on to us, behold what manner, love the father has given unto us that, we should be called the sons of God that, we should be called the sons of God good, job I hope you sing along with we're, gonna do one more song that you need now AM found was blind but now, I see all right let's look at our story, for today our story about gyruss his, daughter and the sick lady the Bible, tells about a girl who was 12 years old, who lived in the town of Capernaum we, don't know her name or her mother's name, but it says her father was called gyruss, and he was a leader at the local, synagogue one day the girl became very, ill I'm sure her mother and father, became very worried maybe she had a high, fever Jesus had been staying in the same, town as the girl but had left in a boat, the day before to visit the other side, of the Sea of Galilee, but exciting news spread the next, morning to a boat with Jesus in it had, returned to shore Jesus was coming back, Jairus knew that Jesus could help his, very sick daughter so he ran to the, shore as fast as he could look at how, fast he's running could you run that, fast does your mommy or your daddy did, they run that fast what about your, grandma or your grandpa maybe not but I, bet you you can run fast just like that, when he found Jesus he fell at his feet, and said my little daughter lies at the, point of death come and lay thy hands on, her that she may be healed and she shall, live do you think Jesus would go with, gyruss well he does he agreed to go with, gyruss a large crowd of people who have, been following Jesus crowded around them, as they walked through the narrow, streets of the town now there was a, woman who had been sick for as long as, the girls old 12 long difficult years, she had problems with her blood and, wounds that did not heal properly many, people called her unclean when she bled, and the bleeding would not stop some, wrongly thought she must be a bad person, to suffer in this way but they were, wrong because you get sick don't you and, it's not just because you're a bad, person, we all get sick because we live in a, world that is affected by sin she had, bought expensive medicine and treatments, from doctors but none of them helped and, some had made the problem worse the, woman believed Jesus could help her but, she was not allowed to go near people or, touched them when she was unclean she, thought if I may touch but his clothes I, shall be whole, but how is she gonna touch his clothes, with so with such a big crowd can you, imagine, maybe keeping her face hidden so no one, would see she quietly sneaks into the, crowd creeps up behind Jesus and while, no one is watching she reached out her, hand and took hold of the core of his, clothes immediately she was healed, fantastic, the pain was completely gone her blood, was clean and healthy but then Jesus, stopped and the crowd halted who touched, me Jesus asked Peter who is one of, jesus' twelve disciples replied there, are so many in this crowd pushing and, shoving how can you ask who touched me, but jesus answered someone was touching, me in a special way because I felt power, was coming out of me the woman gasped, Jesus has noticed that I deliberately, touched him as someone who was unclean, and not allowed to touch other people, perhaps she was afraid of what Jesus, might say woman cried and fell at, Jesus's feet it was I who touched you, she confessed do you think Jesus was, angry no Jesus was not angry with the, woman instead he welcomed her and said, daughter your faith has healed you go in, peace and be free from your suffering, you see it wasn't touching his clothes, necessarily that healed her it was her, faith in doing it at that point a, messenger came from gerace's house and, pushed through the crowd gyrus your, daughter has has died, don't bother Jesus anymore it's too late, now Jesus turned to gyre gyrus and said, don't be afraid just believe they walked, on together with the crowd following, many relatives and friends of gyrus and, his family had gathered out outside of, his house and were crying and wailing, loudly because the girl had died Jesus, spoke to them well why all this, commotion and wailing to me the girl is, not dead asleeping, all the relatives and mourners started, laughing at Jesus they knew the girl was, dead Jesus put all those who were, laughing out of the house only gyrus and, the girl's mommy along with the, disciples Peter James and John were, allowed to stay inside what do you think, he's going to do Jesus then went and, took the dead girl by the hand and, commanded little girl I say to you, horizon guess what immediately the girl, came back to life again and sat up in, bed then she stood up and walked around, do you think her mommy and daddy were, happy of course, Jesus knew the girl had been too sick to, eat for several days have you ever been, too sick to eat for a couple days or you, never haven't eaten for a long time you, know how hungry you get so he told us, her parents you should give her some, food so the girl was served food and do, you think she she liked it do you think, she ate it all I bet she tasted really, good I bet you she had a lot of food, her parents were amazed in fact the, Bible says they were astonished they, were greatly astonished and great, astonishment that she was alive we might, say they were super surprised that she, was alive again, Jesus had God's power to make a dead, person live again now outside the house, I bet those who mocked and laughed at, Jesus were waiting to find out what had, happened, can you imagine imagine when suddenly, the door opens and staying there was a, living happy healthy twelve-year-old, girl have been dead and then raised to, life everyone who lived in the era now, found out what had happened not only, could Jesus heal the sick but he could, raise the dead to life only God could do, this, so Jesus and His disciples walked out of, the town of Capernaum on the way to, Nazareth everyone was very happy do you, think the family was happy too I bet, they were oh I can imagine the joy that, her mom and dad had when the little girl, came back to life because mommies and, daddies love their children so much, families so pleased and yet it's amazing, that Jesus could do this it shows that, Jesus was God God walking on earth, because Jesus was was both God and man, we learned some important lessons today, haven't we God loves to help people yeah, Jesus wanted to help the lady who was, sick he didn't turn her away God loves, to help people we should love to help, other people too and God is more, powerful in any sickness, and we don't get sick necessarily just, because we're bad but God is more, powerful in any sickness and even right, now there's lots of people in our world, who are concerned about sickness but God, is more powerful than any sickness and, God is able to give life to the dead and, not only is he able to bring physical, healing but he can make people live, spiritually too if you don't understand, what that means perhaps you can ask your, mom or your dad about that more what, does it mean to be spiritually alive, well let's sing a song that talks about, our great God because we've learned some, things about God that he is so awesome, and Celeste sing a song it praises God, for who he is and as a song that you, know I'm sure my god is so big so strong, in some way can you sing with me, ready my god is so big so strong and so, mighty there's nothing my God cannot do, my god is so big so strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God cannot do the, mountains arc is the valleys are his the, stars are his handiwork - my god is so, big so strong and so mighty there's, nothing my God cannot do for you, that's right and I hope you sing that, nice and loud and you point out some way, that God can do something for all right, well I have a couple review questions, for you alright I have a couple review, questions can you tell me how old was, the girl that was sick do you remember, how old was she, she was 12 years old did you remember, that alright good hope you did give, yourself a piece of candy how let me ask, you the question how many years had the, lady been sick remember the lady that, that touched Jesus is closed and and was, healed how many years had she been sick, she'd been sick for 12 years - right, the same amount of time as a little girl, had been living okay I hope you got that, one right here's a hard one last, question what did the lady do to be made, whole do you remember it's kind of a, tricky question, well she remembers she touched Jesus's, clothes but jesus said that it was her, faith that made her whole and so she was, made whole through her faith in the but, her action was in touching Jesus his, clothes and faith is active isn't it, just believing what God says he will do, and so faith is the key thing here and, Jesus can heal anybody and remember we, need to be healed spiritually as well, and that takes faith all right parents, or teachers if if you're watching you, may have noticed that I used graphics, from free Bible images to org is a great, website and I hope you'll check it out, there's
