what's up everybody welcome back to, another drawing tutorials today we have, a patreon request indominus rex, from dylan on patreon, so i'm on a landscape orientation page, use a pencil an eraser, and hit pause if i go too fast take your, time try have fun, so we're going to start with the eye, okay so, center point to my page about here right, up over to the right hand side a little, bit and we'll just start with this sort, of ammoned, shaped eye right we'll just curve a line, that way first and then you want to, curve it down underneath, to there i mean, there we have his eye so basically, we have like an iris so just a curved, line he's like looking this way, and then he has a reptile skinny eye, right so you gotta, draw a sort of straight ish, sort of line there and maybe like we can, see some of his eye there in the corner, at the front, just color that in dark, so then around that so we got like, some eyelid lines, like around there one coming, underneath like so, and then more sort of lines like that so, like coming around here, maybe some more wrinkles, sort of as much of this sort of stuff as, you'd like really, right so he seems to have a sort of a, a frowning sort of eye section right so, just coming across the top of his eye, here just comes down around, sort of frowning back this way, and then this kind of curves down around, his eye right so he's got like an, eye socket sort of area in here so it, goes all the way around, up, and into there okay, and again he could have some extra like, wrinkle lines and things all in here, like bags underneath his eyes and things, just like some lines like this coming, around just texture for his skin all, inside, and then this frowning sort of part, might have another sort of bump just, here, and curves around into there, and these can have like wrinkle lines, and stuff on them, you know because he's a reptile, so we'll get like the main shape for his, snout, right so like comes across the front, this way right so so we've got like big, spikes on the top of his head and stuff, so let's see so this brow line the, frowning line, goes back a little bit like that nice, and then top of his head, is like, here i think, right just above that sort of frown line, and we're gonna go, across this way and then we meet like, some spikes on his nose, so like here this spikes, this way spike around, and then there's three it looks like so, this comes down, and this way, and then a third there, and then his nose is going to come like, down like so, so these three sort of spikes have some, skin, on the on the bottom, just sort of join his nose, all right like so i think there's a, smaller one here as well, and then there's a couple of bigger ones, back here but we'll we'll, go around the nose first right so this, knife comes down, there and this is going to bump all the, way back, to his mouth right and he's got like, gnarly teeth and stuff so, we gotta like bump this, like so right because he's got like, teeth sticking out of these gaps, so bump it around like so just sort of a, wavy line, like this kind of thing right, and this then keeps going down, like so, okay so your teeth kind of stop more or, less, here just underneath the eye it's about, halfway, okay and then the back of the head comes, around this way, this just above his eye just sort of, here, and then we might have a spike, or two just on, like scales and spikes and bumps and, things just coming along, the top here that's what it looks like, to me, so this comes along the front of his, brow, down like that and then, more spikes coming around the top of his, head, like that nice, so now that's the main shape for the top, of his head, right and then there's like some spikes, back here, it's down like so, and it might have a wrinkly sort of area, just there and then, this comes down like so you might have, some like, bone lines you know sort of texture, wrinkle lines, on these parts, just there like that okay, and then the rest of his head is going, to come back this way, so it's going to go down like coming out, from these, and again you want to make them sort of, spiky, bumpy, going back like this this all comes down, his neck but we'll finish the rest of, his face first okay, so his we'll go back up here and finish, the details in this section so, we got like his nose, just there, and then he's got these like t-rex, you know like the t-rex has um, sort of these holes or something in his, face like these sorts of, i don't know just dents or something in, his skull it's like, extra bone or something just coming, around, like so and then we can see, another one at the back of his head so, it comes back like this, back around and down, back around there right, and then just along his jaw we could, have, um like extra sort of bumps and scales, and things right so like, coming around like this, all right so that's you could do as much, of this sort of bumpy scaly stuff you, want, around the jaw like you can bring it the, whole way down to here, one, like that nice and then like as much as, as much detail as you'd like around, so like you know he's a lizard so, you can add as many bumps and scale, lines and, maybe line coming down his nose, this kind of stuff and we color in his, nostril, as well this should be dark, and just you're sort of adding, more stuff as you feel, i'm just sort of doing a little bit and, then checking, checking if i like it going the whole, way around, yeah just adding little bumps and things, like this, you can add as much as you want, there's no sort of rule for this kind of, stuff you're just sort of feeling out, like that right so we'll add the bottom, jaw now and then we'll do, like all the teeth right so bottom jaw, comes out here and it just goes, down like so it's relatively big right, his mouth is open he's doing a big like, roar so this comes the whole way down to, the bottom of the page, back up like that so the mouth is open, so depending on how open you want it, meant to be, changes and then this comes around, and again we're doing the same thing as, here right we're going to add all these, bumping sections, right so they're all there's all teeth, and gums and things, all in there right and then, the rest of his jaw comes up, and we go around, and into there, right and then he has that skin flap, that reptiles and sort of snakes have on, the side of their mouth, just there, and again we can add bumps, so you're just adding these curved lines, just along the bottom, again you can add some detail lines, just on his jaw sort of lines like this, and some texture lines as well on, this sort of piece of skin that sort of, comes down from, his mouth just there, and sometimes it is cool to add um some, scars, on dinosaurs maybe it's just me but, i like to add a scar or two, to show that he's gonna keep fights you, know, right like so now teeth, right so we go up to the top and we'll, add all his gnarly teeth, so small ones relatively small anyway, like this and then there's some bigger, ones as we go, in right and they're kind of they're, roundish, at the top they're not too sharp, like that nice you just keep start doing, that, that one's a bit too sharp just round it, off, they're sort of smaller some big some, small, they're fairly spaced out as well which, is, interesting i've never seen that i, suppose it's because he's a genetically, engineered, dinosaur he's a bit different, it seems like there's some small ones, beside one another, and then a big one there, and then we've like got one that like, faces this direction for some reason, there and like a small one in behind us, just there, right so then we can see a layer of, teeth around the back as well right so, so we can see his mouth flap, that's what i'll call it on the other, side of his mouth just here right, and it comes down like so, so this has again, texture lines and things so then this, becomes his gum for his teeth, coming across this side so you just add, some like bumps and stuff, bumpy sort of line coming across here, so basically we can see the other side, of his mouth, from the inside just here, and it kind of disappears then up behind, in there somewhere it could be some like, lines, texture lines and then we'll add some, more teeth so, this kind of thing, like so and then there's like a smaller, one, another one here, another one here, it seems to be like these small ones, every now and then, and then a small one there, and then one here, so basically that's like his gum on the, other side, and it's pretty dark in there so you, could get away with coloring that black, but, i'd say dark red would be a better color, probably, so then right so we got like his tone, coming down right so he's down, there right it goes in behind his teeth, right so we'll draw his teeth, just here so we'll add them as we, see them right so we go small one, they're they seem to be a bit smaller, here, and they get slightly bigger to the, front okay, so, another one there, some in behind other ones, this is a pretty big one, so, all at the front right so his tone goes, in behind there, and you should have like a middle line, for his tongue as well so like, and again that sort of skin flap area, goes back, and then we have gum line and teeth on, the other side, so, so like the gum line will start sort of, bumping, out from behind here, and then we have a line of teeth this, side, well we start sort of behind the tongue, just there small, ones, going down like so, and we keep going and like this is gum, so you know it can be a sort of a gnarly, bumpy sort of section and then we keep, adding teeth, like so and if you want like you can, give them like you know, through sort of coming off, hanging down from the tooth or you know, like, just there can be like some sticky, slimy, let's say we do we'll do a line from, like tooth to tooth so like, a line there just like a broken skinny, line, just of drool, coming down like that i'd say that's, enough, right so the bottom of his neck starts, here right, so that's the top of his neck bottom of, his neck, and then we'll bring this down, underneath, all the way down to the bottom of the, page right there, so then, so we have like scaly neck right so, it ends the scaliness sort of ends here, right, this sort of s shape, and then the general shape for the back, of his head, let's see, so this goes in this way, and then we have a layer of spikes going, the whole way, up and down right so, let's see this now so so we'll just add, sort of spiking layers right, we'll just go kind of like shark fins, the whole way down okay, and like another one here, [Music], they kind of get smaller then as we go, down right, like this and then we have another layer, here, and so these are there's like multiple, layers of this going in along its head, right so, see so, and then up his back right so like this, might be some lines in behind and then, so this goes so, there's four layers and then there's, these lines right, i'm just trying to work it out myself, here so these lines come down, this they sort of break up his neck a, little bit right they can these wrinkles, all right like this kind of stuff and, then we have, like veins or wrinkle lines going, down the neck as well we're going this, way, i think this goes the whole way does it, [Music], yeah, all right and you could like add a bit, of a shadow, just sort of thicken them up a little, bit just to show that they kind of raise, off his skin, okay i'm gonna add like some wrinkles, in between, and some more sort of lines going this, way, just some texture lines right right now, there's more sort of bones, and stuff coming down here right so, we've got like a layer of them it's down, here sort of, so we'll go like back like so and they, kind of grow, out of his skin so there's these little, bumps and lines and things on them like, that, so then one here, all right so they kind of go back this, way, some of them are kind of pyramid like, shapes like you can see the edge as well, like this and we keep just going down, like so and then there's, some smaller ones back here like real, small, and so that's one layer so all right one, two three, four i think we have, like another veiny sort of line here, right and then the next layer of them so, we got another layer, so more of these, like so maybe like another skin line, here, down towards his jaw we just keep adding, these, so this whole area is filled, with these bone-like, spikes and stuff so basically you don't, want to bite the indominus rex on the, back of the head, so one two three so this is where i am, sometimes i lose my place when doing, things like these you know because, they're, they're so sort of similar, so this one comes down, so we'll do one here so this line let's, see so this line will go, sort of a bit more this way and then, we'll add another spike here, like that right and then they get, smaller as we go down, real small down here, like so and, these guys should have a bit of a bottom, to them as well, like that all right one more, layer not just one more spike one more, layer of spikes, so if there's a spike up here, i think there's more here as well, [Music], like so something else here, and then we go down we go down his head, put another one here, put another one here, come down here, maybe something here, so we're just sort of adding as we feel, as we can see them really so i'll just, put some bottoms on these ones, and we might see some around the back of, his head as well so like, in between sort of back here, okay not bad not bad, and some reptile skin, and then so we'll go up his back now, right so same sort of thing again so his, back's, like real long right so it goes like, right up to the top, up here it's like bent down and his, head's going up, right and these have spikes coming down, as well so you could do like a rough, sort of, sketch line just coming down this way, and then, add some of these lads on top, you know, uh, and it goes into the back of his head, just there like these wrinkle lines and, stuff as well, okay, right so then, break this up into sections as well kind, of like his neck, see this so, like that, this you just keep sort of doing this, all right like that and then there's, like spikes that come up his back, this way all right so, go on like shark fins, just adding texture let me keep going up, the back of this, so, and i think we'll do one more layer so, so, so just adding as many as you think you, you want really, so like that kind of stuff okay, right so then we can just see like his, arm sort of coming down here or shoulder, right so you got like these sort of, curved skin lines, and then his shoulder here comes all the, way around to his arm, lying down that way line up that way, right, and like more scales and, scaly reptile lines and anywhere you, want, really and as much of them as you want, like go nuts or don't go nuts, that is the question so, like that right, okay right so then he has, those spikes that come out from um, you know the black things i don't know, what they are they're like pieces of, hair, so they look like just, like that and they go the whole way down, his neck, and kind of as much as you want, see this coming down, spiking out spiking down, comes out spikes back down, and there's like one like because his, neck is bent up here, there's like one that like comes out, here, there and there's like one in behind, this, from here, like that and then, and then there's like one here somewhere, so i'll put it here, i think that's actually in front of that, bone it should be, all right i'll just erase that line in, there, okay boss that, is pretty much how to draw, the indominus rex, there's obviously you could keep going, for ages, with the details but i'll leave it there, hope was helpful dylan thanks So i have this cool indominus rex that i got an egg for. but i thought i set max level for tamed tinos post tame at 500. my elder moschops sure worked but this guy doesnt wanna go above 88 levels(yes his level was 900).How can fix? 9
