it's one color coloring book time again, I'm sure you guys already know from the, thumbnail Title by top we are doing, purple today, hey people it's Tammy if you're new here, I love this series I love that you guys, love this series so much go back into, the M Jordan cologne book guys, everything the coloring book marker, everything is always Linked In the, description the number of comments that, are like what can I get the clothes, it's linked in the description but yeah, let's get our purples so I'm going into, my massive 320 ohohu set as usual I can, see a few purples on this first Swatch, card and then the majority of them are, in the second touch card, and then we've got the final one the, fluorescent purple and the last Swatch, card, so just looking at this section I'm, picking out anything that screams purple, to me it's quite easy to identify them, in this blue section I think but in this, pink section above everything is giving, pink, but you guys know purple is made up of, red and blue or magenta and cyan which, have our color theory where you want to, go but depending on how much blue or how, much red you add depends on the shade of, purple, [Music], so because of that I'm also trying to, pay attention to the name but, recognizing that the Swatch might show a, different color, anyway here are all the purples that, I've managed to gather today doesn't, this look like a beautiful selection of, colors I've quickly split them into two, parts one with the warmer purples and, the other with the color purples but now, we can get into the coloring books I'm, using the EM sure and coloring book as, usual, here is our lady from last time our all, yellow Beauty I'm going to name her, summer Solana thank you so much for your, suggestions I got some very brilliant, suggestions this time around and it was, difficult to choose but thanks guys and, yeah let's pick our purple lady, going straight into the thumbnail page, this page is really coming together and, I cannot wait to see all the little, monochromatic illustrations all on one, page but we need to pick a purple one, for today, and I kind of want to go more of the, Lilac creep for our girls so I want some, soft tones and I'm thinking this lady in, the corner and actually when I decided, which illustration to do I posted it on, my community tab just you know hinting, you guys that something was coming and I, got a brilliant suggestion saying that I, could make her like Isabella from, Encanto so I have not seen this movie I, know that she wears a lot of purple and, it's got really dark hair so that's the, direction I'm going in at the moment, I've kind of picked a medium purple for, her skin but I've gone with one of the, darkest purples for the hair, [Music], and now for the flowers I've started, with these kind of pastel Shades and I, really love this selection and this mid, waistline kind of section I think these, purples are so pretty but I've also, tried to look at different purple, flowers and tried to change it up so for, some of these smaller ones I want them, to have like a white outline and it's, really looking samey so in order to vary, the purples I'm using a little bit I've, gone for this cooler pad for the bigger, flowers and I'm trying to inject, different Hues at different points just, to make the whole piece balance, [Music], for the leaves I'm using the darkest, purple I have, for the background I've picked a purple, that it's kind of leaning to Pink it's, lighter than her skin color, now for the dress after coloring it in I, kind of wish I left it white because, this illustration just feels very busy, purple can get really dense really, quickly and I think this is what this is, giving however I really want to do a, cute pattern for her dress because as, you can see from this illustration a lot, of the other illustrations that I do and, generally pick are more face on and, maybe a tiny top so for this to have you, know the face a lot smaller and to have, a whole dress I think it'll be cute to, have this little pattern with the white, flowers finishing up the lips I'm not, sure how I feel about this I'm going to, be very honest I might have to change up, for the actual illustration but I love, that I've got a thumbnail page just to, play around with ideas and then decide, what to do for the main coloring page, now for the main coloring it's always so, nerve-wracking for me but we just have, to do it so the first thing I do is to, place a piece of card to protect the, next page I'm using alcohol markers they, always bleed through so I just want to, make sure I don't mess up Summer Solana, on the next page, but starting with the face I always, start with the face I think when we can, get the face together everything can be, cute and I'm starting with this same, purple shade that I used on the, thumbnail page but the funny thing about, when I've used it this time around is, that she kind of looks like you know, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the purple violet it was giving Violet, it was giving purple face and I'm not, sure right now how I feel about this I'm, adding small small Contours just giving, her a little bit of dimension on her, face and also going in with her neck and, chest, foreign, s if you're new to my channel you might, not know this but I'm sure the majority, of you know I've got aphantasia so I, cannot imagine visualize things in my, head if I can't see it and I know arms, have you know points where they're, darker where the muscle and you just cut, you need to color in a specific way, right so I'm using my arm as a reference, quickly taking a picture of it in that, position and I can see that I can add, some lighter bits in the middle and then, add a little bit of shadowing, and then I'm going in with this begonia, to just kind of blend it in a little bit, and add pink Hues to the face, and now for the dress okay so I know I, just mentioned that I should have left, it white blah blah but I think if I, start with the dress I can end up, changing up and balancing out the, flowers, I do think it needs some color leaving, it white is a little bit of a cop-out so, I'm starting with this pale kind of, purple shade and I'm just adding small, small creases shadowing trying to, understand what could make sense now, this is one of the most nerve-wracking, Parts generally just adding Shadows, because firstly with alcohol markers it, always looks way too dark and it really, lightens up, so it feels like there's no room for, everyone mistakes can really be, highlighted but I promise you when, you're getting darker with something, against a white background it will, always look crazy you just have to trust, the process, and here is when my bravery I don't, understand because I just decided what, if the arms of this dress was, see-through so that's what I did, so I'm adding this darker color to kind, of look like the arms but the dress and, I don't know guys, anywho enough of the patterns, I want to bring in a little bit of a, warm purple to some of this, [Music], I'm going into my Stadler Trappers fine, liner set, so that I can add some really thin lines, so stems for these mini flowers also, grabbing my acrylographs again all my, supplies are linked in the description, box and I'm using this for some white, flowers and kind of a randomized pattern, this is a three millimeter base and it, just it helps to make a really nice, effect, and now I'm going back in with the fine, liner and just adding some stem details, and I think the dress is so pretty, now we can go into the flowers in the, background and I started with this one, because in the testing phase this gave, me the most difficulty so I had to ask, on Instagram and thank you to you guys, that interacted my Instagram stories but, I do not know my flowers as you guys, know and I asked and a lot of you guys, said these were irises and after, Googling irises I was like okay let me, color it in in that kind of style I, don't know if they actually are irises I, don't know, I just started with a base kind of color, then added small small detail with a, medium color put in some shadows and, called it a day I am going to go back, with the white pen if you're familiar, with my channel that should not come as, a shock at all so stay tuned to the end, for the white pen stage but I think this, came out really pretty, and that's something I'm trying to do, more with these coloring book videos I'm, really trying to go into the detail with, a lot of these markers, so doing up layering doing up small, small lines you know details that just, end up looking really nice, and I'm also trying to experiment a lot, of these flowers will not traditionally, be purple and that's completely fine I'm, not doing this for an exam it's, definitely not that deep this is just a, fun little video, and it's interesting because I have to, say this to myself right now because, realistically my last video was uploaded, 33 days ago, no I'm not counting YouTube Studio tells, me how long it's been, and honestly I didn't realize I'd gone, that long without making a video because, I really do love making these videos but, it's like sometimes the anxiety the, stress the pressure sometimes it really, gets to me and I know when I show it in, the videos everything looks like oh yeah, it was so easy but trust me guys, sometimes the stress is enough for me, not to even want to start and even these, coloring book videos are one of my, favorites to do they bring me completely, out of my comfort zone and I always end, up loving the outcome so I don't, understand why I struggle sometimes just, to start and this was the exact same, with this process like there were so, many times I was like oh my God I don't, like it what am I doing but we just, gotta try we just got to put ourselves, out there not wait for motivation to, come and find us but we just force, ourselves to start it and what I find is, that after doing an hour of it you get, into the swing of things anyway so just, get yourself to the start line you know, and let me know in the comments if you, can relate with I don't even know if I, can say art block but it's more like, anxiety around oh my gosh I don't know, how this will turn out but with any, piece of art that we do in life we don't, know how it's going to turn out but, that's part of the fun of it right, but anyway back to these flowers as you, can see I'm really doing detail I'm, actually doing a lot, proud of myself for really going all out, with this trying to make sure I've got, enough contrast so go and really deep, with some of the values but also I want, to balance, so there were some flowers I wanted to, leave white but obviously I wasn't just, going to do like a daisy-esque flower, written purple and I just love some of, these that I found that had like the, color in the middle and they're like, specs, and I also found some other ones that, have like lines coming from The Middle, honestly this was the most fun part of, this piece just experimenting trying to, change up the different flowers even, making up my own kind of detail it, wasn't easy but I loved it now it's, background time so I'm grabbing my washi, tape and this is just going to help to, keep the edges clean while I cut around, and to pick the background color so I, know I picked a color initially when I, was doing the thumbnail page and it was, this pale hibiscus but I've realized, that is the color I used for the dress, So now I want something that's a little, bit on the cooler scale and so I'm going, to go for this Sakura purple, and starting near the white flowers I, think will give me a good idea of if it, could work, and I think I'm happy with this purple, so I'm just gonna put this all over, you've done notice that I've left the, hair the eyes and the lips those were, the parts of the thumbnail page that I, was most unhappy with so I think I'll, just come back to those at the end see, what best complements the floral, background by the time I'm done, and yes I'm really using the small, bullet nib side to do all of this, background, by the end of this background I needed, to take a break because my hands were, actually hurting, and time to take the washi tape off I, love this background I think it was the, perfect perfect color for this piece, and I'm just doing the leaves very, quickly I'm using mostly the darkest, warmest purple I have let me know if you, can spot it on some parts of the leaves, but I'm also using more of a blue purple, as well to add some detail to some of, them I think it's such a nice, combination and it came out really cute, [Music], now it's time for the finishing touches, at this point with any coloring page I'm, doing I'm ready to be done I like the, overall look of everything so far I'm, just trying to balance the page so where, I think needs more the warmth purple I'm, going in with some detail and for these, leaves I kind of like the look of, leaving them white and so I'm just gonna, add small small details more small, shadowing, and now for the hair okay after doing, the rest of this piece I'm really drawn, to a very light hair so almost like do, you remember when the face when everyone, had like silver kind of white hair that, kind of vibe with kind of darkish roots, but small small detail so I'm using the, lightest purple I've got and I'm just, adding some little detail and I've also, gone for a light color for her eyes and, I think it's so pretty for this look now, for the lips hmm guys are you ready for, the struggle, fast I just want to show you with the, two colors I've applied how it really, lightens up over time so I think this, lip color I think this lip shade is so, pretty I like the warmth that I'm kind, of getting from it, and now it's white pen time normally my, favorite time of all time right I tap my, Sakura jelly roll as usual and I'm, always ready to do something right wrong, I do not know what happened to this size, 10 it just blubbed out like it is, ridiculous because this was not the, amount of ink I was expecting to come, out and now I'm grabbing the smallest, size of five but I know this is the one, that doesn't work so I'm just kind of, using it to spread the ink but no new, ink is coming out but because of how, much ink it's just ah nah it's not cute, and finally I'm just finishing off with, a size eight that's bringing out a more, controlled amount of ink but look how, awful these lips look like it's not, giving glossy it's giving Ashy and it's, not cute so anyway I'm gonna go and put, in some more white details with the rest, of the flowers we can come back and face, the lips another time, foreign, [Music], again I've just decided to go over the, white and see how much of this we can, cover, [Music], so now I found a different 0.5 that, actually works this time so hopefully, we'll dispense the amount of ink I want, and I mean I guess I could see how this, could be glossy but I just don't like it, I just don't like it I'm sorry guys this, I don't know what's happened to me I, don't know what's coming with me you, know the exactly I was feeling about oh, my gosh it would turn out right this is, me pre-vigor and that is scary anyway, I'm just gonna do small small details on, other flowers, because this is not worth my stress and, I'm just gonna cover up the lips again, it's not everyday glossy we tried but, this wasn't the look for it even with, this straight hair I think she deserves, matte lipstick anyway so after some, other detail off camera here is what our, lady is looking like the guys I'm not, gonna lie to you I love how this came, out I think the light hair the straight, look I think it just brought everything, together I really had no idea how an, all-purple lady will turn out and I love, that this is she this is her but thank, you so much to my patrons
