Is there actually anything special about Tru-Tone lights? I find it hard to believe no one else makes C7 bulbs with great color? 0

Just finished restoring a turn-of-the-century dentist lamp c. early 1900s. Made by the Electro Dental MFG Co. of Phil, PA. I love how the Holophane glass shades distribute the light. Adding Hue color bulbs to the mix makes the shades glow like gems. 1

Picked up some LED bulb for the front & rear marker lights to replace incandescent in my 22 Platinum. These seem polarized but has + identifying marking, lights up on first try. Using 194 instead of 168 for lower power draw. The color is very deep rich red and amber, looks great! 3
