hey our friends today we're going to, draw a police officer yeah we hope you, get to follow along with us we always, hope you follow along because art is, always better with friends friends, you need something to draw with we're, going to use markers you also need some, paper and something to go away something, to color with now we're using marker, paper but you can really use whatever, you have at home you ready to start yeah, yeah let's first start by drawing an, oval for our police officer's nose we're, going to draw a, oval about this size and it's right in, the middle of our paper but towards the, top that way we have room for our police, officer's body now let's draw, a circle on the left and also a circle, on the right this is for the eyes, and we want them to be the same size, then let's draw a smaller circle inside, towards the top, left of each eye this is for the, highlight to make our eyes look shiny, then we're going to color in the big, circle and leave the little circles, white, we sped that part up but remember you, can always pause the video for extra, time you also added eyelashes because, you're drawing a police woman right, okay i'm gonna draw a policeman i'm, going to draw a curve for this smile, and we could also draw a little cheek, line and i'm also going to draw a, u-shape underneath so that our, policeman has, a smile and their mouth is open then we, can color in that shape, next let's draw the shape of our police, officer's head i'm going to draw a, u-shape, start on the left and then come over, here to the right, oh perfect now let's draw a letter c for, the left ear, and a backwards c for the right ear, okay next we're gonna draw our police, hat we're gonna extend the left side up, higher, and, the right side to match, then let's connect those two lines, together, and we can also draw the visor to our, police hat i'm going to start over here, and we're going to draw a curve that, comes down close to the nose, and then back up on the other side, okay now let's extend each side up a, little higher, and connect those lines also, there good job okay now we're going to, draw the top of our hat i'm going to, start right here and we're going to draw, a diagonal line that comes out on the, left and then we're going to match that, same line over here on the right, okay now let's draw another diagonal, line this time we're going to come in, towards the center, of our drawing, and match the same same line on the, other side, okay good now we're going to draw an, imaginary line we're going to start with, the nose we're going to draw an, imaginary line that comes up and we're, going to go higher than just barely, higher than the outside lines these two, lines over here that's a good spot right, there, now we're going to draw a line that, comes up, and connects to that point in the middle, yeah, and then we're going to do the same, thing over here draw another diagonal, line that comes up and connects to the, middle, all right now we can also add a little, detail on the hat the badge yeah right, here we're going to draw a v a curved v, we're going to start right here we're, going to curve down and then we're going, to have a point down here at the bottom, and then curve back up for the other, side, then let's draw a diagonal line out and, back in, on both sides out it looks like a, sideways v, yeah and then we can connect the top, together, what should we draw next the body yeah, let's draw two diagonal lines coming, down oh they're not really diagonal but, towards the bottom they get further away, then we can draw their belt let's draw, two lines going straight across the, middle, you could also give them a belt buckle, two short lines, yeah, all right let's give them ties we're, gonna draw the letter v right here, under their chin a tiny v a tiny v and, then we're going to draw, a really tall upside down v, and then down here at the bottom we're, going to draw another tiny v to connect, the bottom, that's a simple way to draw a tie yeah, okay let's also add a collar we're gonna, draw a line down a short line down and, then connect, back up, same thing on the right side short line, down and then connect back up let's add, pockets to our our shirt we're going to, draw, a line crossed, two lines down, and then connect the bottom, and we could also draw a line for the, flap on top of the pocket the flippety, flap flippity flop then we're gonna do, the same thing oh i started by drawing a, line down but we could repeat the same, steps draw a short line across the top, two lines down and then connect the, bottom, and then that extra little line for the, flap the flappity fly yeah, we also need to add a badge to their, shirt let's draw that curved v, and then to keep it simple let's just, connect the top, okay now let's draw their legs we're, going to draw a short little upside down, v, and then let's connect their pants on, both sides bottom of their pants, and a u-shape for their shoes one, u-shape, and another one for the other side, i like how my officer is a little, shorter than yours i like how tall yours, is mine's very tall yeah now let's draw, the arms we're gonna draw a diagonal, line that comes down, and then we could draw a short line, coming in, let's also draw another line for the, bottom other sleeve then we could draw a, u-shape for their hand, let's do the same thing over here for, the right arm long diagonal line coming, down, connect it back in, and then another short line for the, bottom of the sleeve, oh yeah you could draw you drew the hand, i'm gonna do that too, ahead that's okay a u-shape for the hand, and then another line for the bottom of, the sleeve what's our police officer, missing the hair yeah hair i'm going to, draw a curve right here that connects, from the hat down to the ears and i'll, do that on both sides you could do the, same line, that's for the side of her hair and then, you could draw a ponytail back here you, could draw an s curve, coming out to the side, yeah and then a big curve going back in, good job hadley we did it we finished, drawing our police officer they look, really cool except they're gonna look, even better once we do what color them, yeah we need to color them this part, we're going to fast forward but at the, end you can pause the video to match the, same coloring you're ready to fast, forward yeah, haley give me five you did such a great, job on coloring your police officer i, especially love that you drew a, policewoman she turned out perfect now, you guys could add more things to your, drawing like a background you could add, a police car in the background and you, could draw a police dog oh that would be, really cool we should do a whole lesson, i'm drawing a police dog and then you, could add it to this drive yeah that, would be awesome now we used markers to, color drawings but you could use, whatever you have at home crayons oil, pastels or even color pencils colored, pencils we hope you had a lot of fun, joining your police officers yeah we do, we hope you had a lot of fun and we'll, see you later our friends goodbye
