hey everyone and welcome to the club, today i'll be showing you how to draw, lebron james, [Music], let's get started with the bottom edge, of the brow so when you move to the left, side we draw a curve from left to right, starting the outside of the curve up, and then down on the inside leaving gap, in the center we do the same thing on, the right so let's line up the inside of, the brow and curve up, and then down on the outside now from, the inside i just want to draw a curve, on the left will curve in and then up, and do the same thing on the right side, now back on the outside of the brow i'm, going to draw two short angle lines, coming up and in, [Music], now from the outside i want to curve, across the brow and then in behind this, line, and make sure that i leave a little, overlap along the top, let's go ahead and fill the eyebrows in, black, [Music], now we're going to tuck the eyes in, underneath the eyebrow starting left, foot step in we draw a half circle, coming down towards the bottom, and then back up on the inside do the, same thing on the right, [Music], now on the left side of each i would, draw a smaller circle for highlight so, up against the edge of the eye, drawing that circle, do the same thing on the right side, now i'm going to fill the outside area, of the item black, [Music], now on the inside of each eye i want to, draw a curve starting from the left i'm, going to curve down underneath the eye, and then go out, and then we'll move to the center and, draw the notes we'll start with the tip, of the nose first starting on the left, one draw curve that comes down, and back up on the right let's draw in, the nostril from the left side i'm going, to step down, come around and then back in, [Music], now at the top of the nose i'm going to, draw another curve from left to right, going up, and then down for the bridge of the nose, i'm going to move down and draw on the, mouth starting on left wing draw curve, that goes up, and then down on the right side now i'm, going to draw the upper lip starting, back on the left side i'm going to curve, up a little higher in the middle, and then back down on the right now, let's step down and draw the lower lip, over on the left side we'll leave a, little space curve down, and then up and then we'll add that, little goatee we're almost like drawing, a v going down the middle, and then back up we'll fill that area in, black, let's move to the outside and draw on, the lower part of the head so from the, left i'm going to step out and draw a, large half circle coming down, underneath the mouth, and we'll pull that back up on the right, side, [Music], and then from here we're going to draw, on the beard start from the left side i, want to draw a curve coming in towards, the corner of the mouth, leave a little space on the side, do the same thing on the right coming in, now i'm going to connect these two, points with a curve coming down below, that point, coming down in the middle, [Music], and back up on the right we're going to, fill that beard in black, [Music], now let's move back up and draw on the, top of the head we're starting left side, we'll draw a curve going up to the top, and then back down on the right side, starting left i'm just going to bump, this out, and then up towards the middle, round up the top of the head, and then come back down on the right, side, [Music], now the very top we're going to add in, the hair so starting left will leave us, a little space, curve up in the middle, and back down on the right now on the, left side i just want to follow the, curve of the head coming down to right, about there, and do the same thing on the right side, and from here we've got two straight, lines going out, [Music], let's fill the hair in black, [Music], now we move to the side and draw on the, ears from the cheek we're going to step, up draw a curve going up, rounding out the ear and then pulling, that in towards the side of the head, we'll do the same thing on the right, coming up, rounding out the air and pulling that in, let's draw the inside of the ear, starting from the side of the head i'm, just going to draw a short curve going, up and then out, [Music], now that we complete the head let's work, our way down the body on either side, we're going to curve out towards the hip, starting the left one curve out, and then down, [Music], and we're going to connect these two, points with a curve coming down the, middle, and back up on the right, let's add a trim along the side of the, body from the left we're going to step, in just follow the same curve of the, body coming all the way down, and we'll do the same thing on the right, side, [Music], now let's draw on the collar from the, top of the slime we step in draw a half, circle coming down, and back up on the right and trace this, out on the inside with an even space gap, now we're going to add the number 23 in, the inside of this jersey so let's start, with the two starting at the top and, draw a straight line going across, now from here i'm just going to curl, around, and then down an angle towards the left, let's come down on the side, and then go straight across along the, bottom let's go back up to the top i, just want to trace this out going up, [Music], and then in, go straight across, and then close off the inside, now on the right side we're going to add, the three so in line with the top of the, tube draw a straight line coming down, we'll go across with a short line, going to come down in an angle just, flatten off the inside now from here i, just want to curl around, and then back up, and flatten off the inside, now let's go back up to the top we're, just going to trace the outside going, out, flatten off the end, go down an angle, and go all the way around, towards the inside, i'm going to continue working down with, the legs in the center we're going to, step down draw a curve not too right, going up, and then down, leaving a gap in the center we go to the, left side curve out and down towards the, left heel, out and down towards the right heel, now we're gonna round out the bottom of, the feet starting from the left heel, we're going to curve down and up towards, the toe, and do the same thing on the right side, now from the left toe i'll draw a curve, that goes up the middle, i'm just going to pull that down to, right about there i'm gonna curve in the, opposite direction towards the inside of, the leg let's do the same thing on the, right starting from the toe and curve up, and we're going to bend this down aiming, towards the heel, and we'll blend into a curve going back, up towards the inside, now at the top of the foot we're going, to draw a half circle going up, and then down for the tongue of the shoe, [Music], let's go back up to the hip and draw the, side of the leg we start from the left, hip we're going to curve out, round up the leg and then pull that in, towards the top of the tongue, now just above the tongue we're going to, draw a curve start from the outside leg, when you curve down and then up, do the same thing on the right side and, leave a small gap and draw another curve, now i'm going to go up and draw the, bottom edge of the short on that same, curve coming in towards the inside of, the leg, now we're going to move back up and draw, on the arms let's start with the arm on, the left about halfway down the side of, the body we'll start up here and draw, the inside of the arm curving out and, down towards the wrist, now we're going to add the thumb we draw, a small half circle, and then at the end of the thumb we'll, draw a bracket, at the bottom of the thumb we curve down, and up around that bracket, we're going to step down we draw the, second finger coming down and up now on, the side of this we're going to start, out here and curve around third finger, and curve that in behind the head, let's add in the armband starting from, the wrist we're going to curve up, and then back out towards the left i'm, gonna go all the way up to the top and, draw the top of the armband coming up, and then across, now the arm on the right is gonna be, holding the basketball so we'll draw a, large circle so start up, here draw a curve coming all the way, down towards the bottom, and back up towards the top now in the, center we draw a straight line from top, to bottom, coming down, i'm going to go across from left to, right, now we draw two curves on the side of, the basketball starting on the left and, curve in, across that center line and then back, out, let's line this up on the right side i'm, going to curve in, and then back out, [Music], now we draw the arm coming in behind the, basketball so start underneath the head, curve down, and then across, i'm going to step down and draw the, lower part of the arm from here we're, going to curve in, and then up, now the last thing we do is add the tips, of the fingers and the thumb so starting, on the side we draw a small half circle, we're going to step up, draw another small half circle and at, the bottom, we'll draw another one here now i'm, going to go all the way to the top and, draw the thumb so another half circle, and that's pretty much it there we have, it there's lebron james i hope you, enjoyed today's lesson make sure you, subscribe and send me your requests in, the comments below thanks for watching, and we'll see you again soon, [Music]
Launch HN: Lyrebird (YC S17) – Create a digital copy of your voiceHi HN!
We are the co-founders of Lyrebird (https://lyrebird.ai/) and PhD students in AI at University of Montreal. We are building speech synthesis technologies to improve the way we communicate with computers. Right now, our key innovation is that we can copy the voice of someone else and make it say anything. The tech is still at its early stage but we believe that it is eventually going to make possible a wide range of new applications such as:
- reading loud text messages with the voice of the sender,
- reading audiobooks with the voice of your choice,
- giving a personalized digital voice to people who lost their voice due to a disease,
- allowing video game makers to have more customized dialogs generated on the fly, or avatars of their players,
- allowing movie makers to freeze the voice of their actors so that they can still use it if the actor ages or dies.
Yesterday we launched a beta version of our voice-cloning software: anyone can record one minute of audio and get a digital voice that sounds like them.
We know that many on HN are concerned about potential misuses surrounding these technologies and we share your concern. We write further on our ethical stance on this page: https://lyrebird.ai/ethics/.
Our blogpost about the launch: https://lyrebird.ai/blog/create-your-voice-avatar that features the first video combining generated audio and generated elements of the video.
There was a thread about us on HN when we launched our website four months ago (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=14182262) but at that time, no one could test our software yet and we did not really answer any question of the community. So this time we are ready for questions and would love some feedback!.
