yeah so he should be back in a couple of, days or so depends what, how it's going up there and how he's, getting on with everybody, oh look look it's them, yeah hello everybody we were just, talking um, it's me and manning this week because, cornelius is off visiting family in, camden there's a whole bunch of green, parrots apparently, flying around camden and enfield and all, that sort of area and living in trees, and things up there, so he's gone for a visit uh so, me and manning thought we'd do something, a little bit different this week we were, going to talk to you about, jairus's daughter but instead we thought, we'd just, tell you the story with some pictures so, i hope you enjoy the story, yes we worked hard on it didn't we we, hope you enjoy the story and we'll talk, to you again afterwards so, bye for the moment so this is a story of, jairus's daughter, jesus has just returned from the far, side of the lake he's, got out of the boat and there's a vast, throng of people to meet him and the, disciples, and as he's making his way through the, throng this, man comes up to him and just throws, himself at his feet he just gets down at, jesus feet, and this is this is jairus who is, a leader of the synagogue so he's, essentially a pharisee, now people think that jesus had a, problem with pharisees but it wasn't the, pharisees, group that his problem was with it was, with the mentality the heart of, some of them so this man jairus says to, him, lord my daughter is near to death she is, ill and she is near to death, you can save her please lord come with, me and save her, so jesus gets the man back on his feet, and they head off towards jairus's home, now in the middle of this so there's, this, this set up to this miracle this this, healing this possible resurrection, that's going to happen, but in the middle of this is another, miracle where, the woman with the 12-year bleed makes, her way through the throng they're, crowding around jesus, and touches his garment now i like to, think that she touches, the zitzit on his talent because i think, that's two wonderful words, it visits it which are the tassels on, his, his prayer cloak which is amazing and he, says to it your faith has healed her, so anyway jesus and, the disciples and jairus and the crowd, that are following them, head on towards jairus's home to see, what's going to happen, and as they're getting close they see, someone coming out to meet them, and a man comes out to meet them and he, says your daughter is dead, why are you bothering this this this, teacher now, let him go about his business there is, nothing that can be done, now jesus isn't fazed by this, she is dead he just looks at jairus and, he says, don't be afraid only believe, he said don't be afraid only believe, and they carry on in and people are, people are mocking and laughing because, they figure she's dead there's nothing, anybody can do, so jesus sends them all away takes the, parents and a couple of the disciples in, with him and he, sees the girl and he says she's just, sleeping, and he looks there and he takes it by, the hand he says talitha, komi which, probably my pronunciation there but, which just basically means, get up girl get out of bed come on time, to get up, and she does she gets up and jesus's, only other instruction to anyone, is bring her something to eat, now at the very least, he has healed her from some terrible, problem, it may even have raised her from the, dead it's, difficult to tell from the story but, his only instruction to the people there, is, keep quiet about what has happened tell, no one, hello again everybody hope you enjoyed, the story manu and i were just chatting, about what we particularly liked about, the story, and we kind of like the pace of it and, that, jesus wasn't worried about getting, to jairus's daughter within a specific, amount of time, he knew that whatever happened he could, heal us so, he was able to take his time not worry, and just deal with other things as he, went on his way, we also like the fact that he said at, the end, don't tell anyone, [Music], why do you do that that's a good, question we can chat about that later, though because, i think we need to really sort of, discuss that one quite a bit, anyway bye for now everybody enjoy the, rest of the surface, and we'll do this again sometime soon, bye now
